Catalogue of the exhibition of the same name. It includes works from the corresponding exhibition hosted at the MOMus-Museum of Modern Art-Costakis Collection (formerly: State Museum of Contemporary Art). The exhibition was based on research into the relationship between Russian art and science before and after the October Revolution of 1917. More specifically, the exhibition focused on the complex and fruitful relationships between artistic visions of the universe and the scientific research that led to the realisation of space travel. Many experimental artists, representatives of the Russian avant-garde of the 1910s and 1920s, such as Pavel Filonov, Pyotr Fateyev, Wassily Kandinsky, Solomon Nikritin, Kazimir Malevich, Aleksandr Rodchenko, Vladimir Tatlin and Gustav Klucis were inspired by the theme of the search for other worlds and explored abstract vocabularies in their work, which helped them recount not only the flight of the first airplane and the first experiments to realise space flight, but also the vision of poets and philosophers in search of an esoteric, astral space.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order. To initiate a return, please send an email to shop@momus.gr with the subject RETURN – ORDER NUMBER, ensuring the product is in its original condition.

When the returned items arrive at the museum, they will be inspected. If approved, we will process your refund within 14 calendar days.

What happens if I receive a defective or incorrect order?
If you receive a defective or incorrect product, please contact us immediately at shop@momus.gr with the subject RETURN – ORDER NUMBER, and attach:
- The return form that comes with your order.
- Photos of the defective or incorrect product.
We will guide you through the return process and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
We do not offer product replacements. In the case of a return, a refund will be issued, and you can place a new order.
