Shipping Costs

The shipping cost is determined by the delivery location, the dimensions of the products, and the pricing practices of MOMus’s partner courier companies as follows:

Shipping costs for cities in Greece are determined based on the weight and volume of the order, following the pricing policies of the courier service provider. The cost is calculated at the checkout.

For international orders, shipping costs are determined on a case-by-case basis, depending on the courier’s charges for the destination country, as well as the weight and volume of the order, in line with the service provider’s pricing policy. The calculation is also done at checkout.

The order form displays the items you ordered along with their associated costs.

MOMus is not responsible for any additional postal or customs charges for orders outside of Greece.

Shipping Time

Shipments are processed daily, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

MOMus strives to fulfill orders as quickly as possible, having established partnerships with a wide network of delivery partners. The goal is to deliver orders via couriers within the following timeframes:

Within Greece, orders are delivered within 1 to 3 working days from the confirmation of shipment.

International orders may take 7 to 10 working days from the confirmation of shipment.

For non-Schengen countries (Third Countries), shipping and delivery times are determined after communication with the destination country’s customs.

MOMus is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure, postal services, customs procedures outside Greece, or suppliers’ inability to deliver products within the expected times. In such cases, MOMus will notify the customer and coordinate with the supplier.

Prices on the online store, eshop.momus.gr, may change without notice.

Return Process

a) In all cases where, due to proven fault of MOMus, you were delivered products different from those you ordered.  

b) In all cases where there is a genuine defect in the product, provided that no different terms are specified by the warranty of the manufacturer or importer, and the product is still within the warranty period, in which case the terms of the warranty apply, or if no warranty exists.

Specifically, you have the right to return the products you purchased and request an exchange for another product or products up to the value of the price you paid, or with an additional fee if desired, within fourteen (14) days from the receipt of the product. In any case, please contact us beforehand at (tel. 2310589229).

In all cases, the product to be replaced must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase and must be in the condition in which it was received by the customer, complete and without damage. The packaging must be the one that originally accompanies the product and in excellent condition, along with all the documents that accompany it (e.g., invoice, receipt, etc.). In any other case, MOMUS reserves the right not to accept the return of the product.

Before any return, prior communication with MOMus is required.

Return Process

In case a product is defective (e.g., broken or worn out) or does not match your order (e.g., incorrect product delivered), you can return it to MOMus headquarters using the courier service associated with MOMus, following instructions from shop@momus.gr. In such cases, send an email to shop@momus.gr with the subject “RETURN – ORDER NO.*” and attach photos of the product.

Then, you will receive in response to the above email return instructions. Subsequently, MOMus will process the return of your money using the same payment method that was used for the purchase of the product, within 30 days from the product’s delivery to MOMus headquarters, provided that the above conditions are met. MOMus is not responsible in case of delays in crediting the amount to the customer’s account due to reasons beyond its control and related to the (mal)function of the respective financial institution.

You will not be charged return costs for the aforementioned cases (wrong product delivery or defective product delivery).

Right of Withdrawal

Additionally, you have the right to withdraw from the remote sales contract/sale without justification, within 14 days from the day you acquire physical possession of the product, under the terms and consequences outlined in Article 3e et seq. of Law 2251/1994, as codified by Ministerial Decision 5338 (Government Gazette B’ 40/17.1.2018) and in effect today. For your unjustified withdrawal, you can use the withdrawal form, which can be sent to us at info@momus.gr, or included with the returned product when sending it back.

Furthermore, the products to be returned must be in excellent condition, completely undamaged, within their original packaging, and always accompanied by the purchase invoice or the corresponding retail receipt.

In any other case, MOMus reserves the right not to accept the return of the product.

Returned products are shipped at the customer’s own risk. In any case, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and any reduction in the value of the product. MOMus explicitly reserves the right to assess any such reduction in value upon receiving the returned product. The obligation to refund will be fulfilled without undue delay and within 30 calendar days from the return of the product.

MOMus will process the refund using the same payment method that was used for the purchase of the product within 30 days from the delivery of the product to MOMus’s premises, provided that the above conditions are met. MOMus is not responsible for any delays in crediting the payment to the customer’s account due to reasons beyond its control, including issues related to the (mal)functioning of the respective financial institution.

Please note that in the case of a return due to your withdrawal, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs, and the original shipping fees will not be refunded

The right of withdrawal under the provisions of Law 2251/1994 does not apply in the following cases:

Order Cancellation

Cancellation of the order can only be done in the following case: You must send an email to us, shop@momus.gr by 3:00 PM on the day of the order, providing your details and the order number. A member of our team will take care of the cancellation

Payment and Delivery Methods for Products and Services

Payment via Credit Card

The online store of the Metropolitan Organisation of Museums of Visual Arts of Thessaloniki – MOMus accepts all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay). To complete your purchase using a credit card, please follow the instructions provided in our online store.

Your order will be forwarded to our partnered payment institution, and the transaction using your credit card will be processed in a secure transaction environment.

MOMus does not store credit card numbers. Any transaction is carried out with our partnered payment institution and not with MOMus.

If the order is placed on behalf of a legal entity (e.g., a company), the credit card used must be a corporate card, issued in the name of the corresponding company. Additionally, during delivery, the authorized cardholder must be present with the authorization, the credit card, and their identification document.

Product delivery is available through the following methods:

Courier services: General Post (Geniki Tachydromiki) / DHL.

In-store pickup: Collect your order directly from our store.

Payment Upon In-Store Pickup

You can pay for your order when collecting it from our store.

Pickup hours: Tuesday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Transaction Security

For your security, during the checkout process, when making a payment, you will be redirected to a secure webpage of our collaborating bank. Your credit card details are entered and processed exclusively by the bank, in accordance with the applicable legislation governing electronic transactions and payments.

Our website only records and stores the necessary information related to product shipping and invoice issuance.

The MOMus online store (shop.momus.gr) operates in a secure HTTPS environment using Comodo Positive SSL encryption for enhanced security.
